Artesian Capital launches bond fund

A new corporate-aimed sustainable bond fund for both wholesale and retail investors has been launched by Artesian Capital. The Artesian Green & Sustainable Bond Fund offers investors access to a diversified portfolio of sustainable, ‘green’ and social bonds. The fund has outperformed its benchmark in all five months it has been in existence.

BetaShares launching cloud computing ETF

The BetaShares Cloud Computing ETF (CLDD) is set to invest in companies that supply work-from-home and flexible working solutions such as video conferencing, online shopping and digital media. The fund tracks an index of listed cloud computing companies that offer computing services, servers, storage, databases, networking, software and analytics, such as Xero, Shopify, Dropbox and Zoom.

JP Morgan AM launches new sustainable fund

The JP Morgan Global Macro Sustainable Fund opened on 1 February 2021, offering a portfolio of long and short positions in equity, fixed income, currency and volatility that seeks to make the most of return opportunities offered by macroeconomic themes. The fund has an ESG bent with an eye for sustainability compared to peers. The fund currently has 44 per cent weighting in bonds, 38 per cent weighting in equities and 15 per cent investment in cash.

Evergreen launches stress test tool for portfolios

Evergreen Consultants has developed and launched a portfolio stress-testing tool within GreenVUE, the company’s portfolio analytics system. GreenVUE allows advisers to visualise an investment portfolio risk and return characteristics with multi-factor analysis of portfolios in a collection of events and markets.

New trading platform launch

A new trading platform, Pearler, is soon launching for those into long-term investing. Pearler allows investors to invest however they want or set up an auto-invest strategy, like how superannuation works. The platform partners with ETF providers such as eInvest, ETF Securities and VanEck, with 43 ETFs on offer. The platform was co-founded by Nick Nicolaides, Hayden Smith and Kurt Walkom.

Westpac joining Advance super with BT Super

Westpac’s Advance Asset Management is transferring the products into BT’s new superannuation product, BT Super. Advance notified members of three funds of the transfer: Advance Super Account, Advance Allocated Pension Account and Advance Fixed Term Pension Account. Within the coming months, the three products will be replaced with a BT Super account within Retirement Wrap.
