Zurich welcomes new appointments

  • Tina Beilby - head of operations, integration (former chief underwriting officer)

  • Joanne Faglioni - chief claims officer (former head of claims at OnePath)

  • Peter Tilocca - chief underwriting officer (former chief underwriter)

  • Kristine Brooks has resigned as chief distribution officer, leaving in November 2020 after 15 years, moving to head of Australian business at Milford Asset Management

  • Daniel Longden rejoins Zurich as chief financial officer, also in November

  • Kieran Forde is the interim head of customer and digital

  • Gerard Kerr is the interim head of group insurance until early 2021

 AMP appoints head of people and culture

Gillian Davie, a human resources powerhouse, has been hired at AMP Australia as head of people and culture. Davie has over 25 years’ experience in human resources and is a non-executive director of The Scout Association of Australia, chair of Women on Boards, and a board and committee member of the Hills United Football Club. Davie has a long history at Woolworths.

Centrepoint Alliance appoints research head

Daniel Stojanovski is the new head of research at Centrepoint Alliance, starting his role in October. Stojanovski has spent the past five years at IOOF as a research analyst.

Westpac welcomes risk management specialist

Peter “PJ” Taylor is leaving Commonwealth Bank (CBA) after over a decade to join Westpac in a risk management role. Anvij Saxena, who took over the role while Taylor was on sabbatical, will stay in the operations role at CBA.

Departures

MLC Wealth loses chief risk officer

Julia Pryor has left MLC Wealth as chief risk officer for the retirement and investment solutions and platforms division. Peter Sutherland, the chief risk officer of advice at MLC Wealth, will assume Pryor’s duties as acting chief risk officer. Pryor was in the role for almost five years.
