Scientiam launches advice solution

A new low-cost digital advisory solution has been launched by Scientiam for clients who do not yet need, or no longer or temporarily have no need for comprehensive personal financial advice. Sydney financial advisory firm Arch Capital created the new offering for the group’s friends and family, C and D clients, and the adult children of existing clients as part of its inter-generational advice proposition.

The cloud-based solution allows diversification of client base and the option of tapping into new fuller-service clients when needed down the track.

A new pilot program is being launched to raise awareness among members of early cancer screening tests they may be eligible for. Since the pandemic hit, people have delayed or deferred important tests due to restrictions and access to health services.

Cancer Australia statistics show there were 164,000 fewer diagnostic procedures such as scans and biopsies for 14 common cancers in 2020 alone. Only half of those eligible for free cancer checks take them up. Free for TelstraSuper embers, Aware by CancerAid asks health questions that help a member understand cancer risks and offers recommendations. Members may be offered a free session with a doctor and resources.
