Asian Monthly Insight December 2021 Highlights:
/Assets Under Management in the Asian fund industry increased in December 2021 to US$5.3 trillion; regional assets under management grew by 7.6% in the last six months.
Net Sales were US$76.2 billion in December 2021, a US$30.3 billion decrease from the previous month.
Bond funds was the best-selling asset class at US$52.9 billion. Equity funds and alternatives both saw inflows of US$40.6 billion and US$0.8 billion, respectively.
Active managed funds experienced net outflows of US-$44.9 billion, passive fund saw net flows of US$5.6 billion and ETF net sales were US$9.0 billion.
