Zurich introduces paid gender affirmation leave policy

A new gender affirmation policy across Australia and New Zealand is now part of Zurich’s LGBTQ+ inclusion policy. The new Paid Gender Affirmation Policy offers transgender and gender-diverse team members access to assistance if they want to affirm their gender identity socially or physically. The benefits include:

  • Four weeks paid leave entitlement

  • Up to 12 months unpaid leave

  • Implementing an individualised workplace action plan

  • Support via Zurich’s Employee Assistance Provider

  • Assistance for the person’s manager, colleagues and allies to ensure support

Centrepoint Alliance acquires ClearView advice business

Centrepoint Alliance Limited announced an agreement to buy financial advice business, ClearView Wealth Limited for $15.2 million. The deal includes ClearView Financial Advice Pty Ltd and Matrix Planning Solutions Ltd, and LaVista Licensee Solutions Pty Ltd. ClearView Wealth Limited will become a 25 per cent shareholder in Centrepoint Alliance.
