Wayne Swan, former treasurer and deputy prime minister, is the new chair of Cbus Super, replacing Steve Bracks in early 2022.

AUSIEX appoints head of risk and compliance

Paul Williams is the new head of risk and compliance at the Australian Investment Exchange Limited (AUSIEX), moving into the role from BT. AUSIEX is the rebranded CommSec Adviser Services.

LUCRF farewells head of product and strategy

Michael McCormick is leaving LUCRF after four years as head of product and strategy to pursue another career opportunity within the superannuation industry. Deputy chief executive and chief operating officer Antony Thow will take on some of McCormick’s duties as the fund reviews its requirements.

AustralianSuper appoints head of equities

Justin Pascoe is the new head of equities at AustralianSuper. Pascoe joined AustralianSuper in June 2019 as deputy head of equities in Australia.

AMP appoints GM of retirement, loses head of multi-asset group

Ben Hillier is AMP’s new general manager of retirement solutions, moving into the role from QSuper. Darren Beesley is leaving AMP Capital later in 2021, from his role as head of the multi-asset group. Beesley started at AMP Capital in 2015 as a senior portfolio manager and head of retirement.

Lonsec appoints CIO

Kevin Brennan is the new chief information officer with Lonsec Group, moving from Westpac’s advice and private wealth business as head of technology.

SuperConcepts welcomes CIO, CTO

Jim Robinson is the new chief information officer at SuperConcepts, replacing Grant Christensen, who is now the CEO. Andy Forbes is the new chief technology officer, an internal promotion, after acting in the role since February.

WTW announces CEO replacement

Carl Hess is the new president of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) effective immediately, and replacing John Haley as chief executive on January 2022. Hess was the investment, risk and reinsurance head.
