JANA welcomes risk specialist

Eleanor Cheng is the new risk specialist on the operational consulting team at JANA Investment Advisers. Cheng moves from a role at Morningstar as director of risk management for the Asia Pacific region.

Cbus appoints head of advice

Lynda Cross is the new head of advice at Cbus industry superannuation. Cross moves into her new role from Mercer, in a variety of roles across 16 years.

Australian Super appoints senior manager of portfolio strategy

Jessica Melville, who recently departed from Willis Towers Watson (WTW), is the new senior manager for portfolio strategy at AustralianSuper. Melville was with WTW for over 12 years, most recently in the role of head of strategic advisory.

Clime welcomes new CEO

Annick Donat is the new chief executive at Clime Investment Management. Donat moves into the role from Madison Financial Group, prior to its acquisition by Clime.

Departures

Boe Pahari and Tim Nation depart AMP Capital

Boe Pahari is leaving AMP Capital after an announcement that AMP is emerging AMP Capital’s private markets investment management business. Pahari had a brief stint as chief executive before stepping back into the role of global head of infrastructure equity. The new Private Markets business being set up to split the wealth and institutional arms of the business is searching for a chief executive officer. David Atkin is the interim CEO.

Tim Nation has left AMP Capital after over 11 years, with several roles under his belt, but most recently the head of real estate distribution.

SuperFriend chair steps down

David Atkin has stepped down as chair of SuperFriend after a three-year tenure, replaced by Elizabeth Proust, a current Bank of Melbourne chairperson, chair of Nestle Australia and a member of the board of Lendlease.

Fidelity loses portfolio manager

Alex Duffy is leaving Fidelity as portfolio manager for the emerging markets fund. Singapore-based Amit Goel is to replace Duffy, with co-portfolio manager Punam Sharma, based in London. Duffy has run the top-performing emerging markets strategy since its inception in 2004.
