Financial Executive Women (FEW) welcomes new CEO

Judith Beck is stepping back from the helm and passing the head role of FEW, a member-based career advocacy program, onto Alex Tullio after seven years. Beck will transition to chair fo the advisory board.

Departures

MLC GM resigns

Michael Downey has left MLC as the general manager of advice partnerships after nearly 14 years at the firm. The resignation is related to MLC’s new advice umbrella business, the TenFifty Financial Group. A replacement has not been announced.

CBA loses executive GM of CBA Private

Marianne Perkovic is leaving the Commonwealth Bank of Australia after a recent transition of the private banking division into the retail services division. Perkovic will continue to serve in the role for a few more months as a replacement is found.

AMP Life appoints new executives

As AMP Life’s sale to Resolution Life is set in motion, AMP Life has appointed a new chief investment officer, Greg Bird (also chief actuary), and deputy investment officer, Jeff Brunton. Bird was previously the group actuary for AMP Limited, while Brunton was the previous senior investment director at AMP Capital as Sean Henaghan took extended leave. Megan Beer remains AMP Life’s chief executive.
