BT to change Wealth Connect business

There may be changes afoot to BT’s Wealth Connect after an internal memo said that the business in its current form was ‘no longer required’. Due to reduced client demand, general advice will no longer be delivered by Wealth Connect and its team of 50, moving instead to its customer relations team. Redundancies are imminent.

MetLife launches mental health initiative

Financial advisers struggling with industry challenges now have a range of online content from webinars to articles to help recognise and seek help for mental health issues in themselves or colleagues from MetLife. There was a recent resolution made by industry leaders and associations to establish a working group to address mental health in financial advisers.
