Aberdeen welcomes head of Australian fixed income, investment manager

Aberdeen Standard Investments has promoted Garreth Innes to the head of Australian fixed income after September saw two team members leave. Innes has spent eight years on the team, with previous head Nick Bishop moving on to Gresham Funds Management in April. Jasmine Argyrou, director of the Australian fixed income team, left in October. David Murray, investment manager, left in June. Amanda Chong is the new investment manager, moving from Susquehanna International Group.

Mercer appoints chief risk and compliance officer

Ruby Yadav is the new chief risk and compliance officer at Mercer, moving into the role in February 2020 as a member of the Pacific leadership team. Yadav moves from UniSuper, in a similar role for the past three years.

Grow Super appoints COO

Former Qantas Super chief operating officer, Peter Savage, is the new COO at Grow Super, which is looking for a buyer for its superannuation assets and moving into the administration space. There is a pilot program running for an administration services platform, announced in July.

CareSuper operations head resigns

CareSuper’s head of operations, Rachel Reynolds, has resigned after nearly five years in the role, taking a break then exploring new opportunities for the new year. A replacement has not yet been found.
