BT builds investment team
Corrin Collocott has been announced as BT Financial Group’s investment officer; Balaji Thiruvengadasamy has been appointed as head of alternatives; and Minna Kim has been appointed as portfolio analyst on BT’s equity team.

Mercer announces new investment officer
Kylie Willment has been named as investment officer for Mercer’s Pacific region, after a previous position at TCorp. Willment will join Mercer on 25 October. 

Local Government Super announces chief executive
David Smith has been announced chief executive of Sydney-based Local Government Super. Smith was most recently head of AXIS Specialty Australia.

KPMG appoints management head
Paul Howes has been appointed as KPMG’s head of wealth management. Howes was previously head of KPMG’s superannuation practice.

New ASIC information officer
Acting information chief Jo Harper has been confirmed for the role of information officer. Harper joined as senior manager of IT assurance in 2013.

Australian Ethical Investment appoints new director
Michael Monaghan has been announced as non-executive director to the board of Australian Ethical Investment. Monaghan is currently deputy chair of HammondCare and a non-executive director of Alpha Vista Financial Services.

APRA names panel for CBA investigation
APRA has announced the three panel members to conduct the inquiry into the culture, governance and accountability frameworks of the Commonwealth Bank. The members are John Laker, chairman of The Banking and Finance Oath, Jillian Broadbent, company director, and Graeme Samuel, professional fellow in the Monash Business School.

CEO of Kinetic Super departs
Paul Kessell investment officer at Kinetic Super is departing after nine years of service. Kessell was a founding member of Kinetic Super’s investment team and played a major role in the management of the fund’s investment strategy.

CBA group exec leaving
Commonwealth Bank group executive of wealth management, Annabel Spring, has decided to leave the group in December.

Centuria chief executive steps down
Nick Collishaw, chief executive of listed funds at Centuria, is to step down in January 2018. Collishaw was appointed to this role in 2013.

HUB24 distribution head exits platform
Wes Gillett head of marketing and distribution at HUB24 is to step down. Gillett has held the position since May 2013 and will continue to work with HUB24 to support the business.

ASB chief executive to retire
The board of ASB has announced that Barbara Chapman, chief executive and managing director at ASB, plans to retire in April 2018. Chapman has held this role since April 2011.
