Martin Goss is Willis Towers Watson's new director of investments, Australia, overseeing the investment team. 

Paradigm Group Appoints Operations Head
Carsten Zuber is Paradigm's new head of operations, moving across from Industry Fund Services. 

Kinetic Super Appoints New CEO
Andrew Barnett is taking over the chief executive role from Elizabeth Thomas, who has been acting chief since August 2015.

Equity Trustees' managing director, Robin Burns, has resigned, with the role filled by Michael J. O'Brien, a non-executive director since 2014. 


SMSF Trustees Warned on Personal Income Diversions
The Australian Tax Office is warning self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) trustees against diverting personal services income to an SMSF for tax minimisation or avoidance purposes. Those closest to retirement are more likely to engage in this practice. Anyone planning on entering into this sort of arrangement is advised to seek a private ruling or make a voluntary disclosure.
