$18.3bn Growth in Wholesale Funds during December Quarter

Wholesale Funds rose 1.2% in the December quarter and increased 4.0% over the full year to total $1,603.6bn.

Increases in funds under management were reported by most managers, including market leaders State Street (2.8%) and Vanguard (10.8%), while third-placed Challenger (-3.9%) recorded a decline. Insignia (3.6%), Victorian Funds (3.9%) and UBS (2.6%) all achieved modest growth, while BlackRock (14.5%), Macquarie (10.8%) and DFA (15.3%) posted double-digit increases.
