Kwala launches ethical investing app

Australian company Kwala has launched an ethical investing app offering access to companies with an interest in ethics, sustainability and prudent governance. Kwala was founded by Patrice Newell, Peter Bennetto and Geoffrey Zabell to help bring ethical investing to the masses, making it simple, easy to understand and affordable.

The Kwala Fund is managed and administrated by Cache Investment Management, while MCS Trustees the responsible entity and trustee. Each investment is examined on its performance on several key metrics, including financial, environmental and social contribution, tax rates paid on profits, corporate governance and future prospects, using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The service is offered via subscription, and just $10 is needed to get started. The subscription costs $2-$4 per month, depending on the balance. The app is only currently available in the Apple iStore.
