CommInsure now belongs to AIA

AIA Australia and CommInsure have completed the final stretch of CBA’s life insurance portfolio, the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, which includes products within CommInsure, Colonial and Commonwealth Financial Services brands.

Count buys ex-MLC advice businesses

Count Financial has added three former MLC financial advice businesses to its ranks, with another four having joined in March. The latest additions include:

  • Sapphire Coast Financial Services (formerly licensed via Godfrey Pembroke)

  • Next Generation Financial Planning (Meritum)

  • Aspire Financial Planning Group (Garvan)
