QIC welcomes new GM

Katrina King is the new general manager of capital solutions at QIC, moving from a role as general manager of research and product innovation. Zoe McHugh is the new portfolio manager, caring for the Long Term Diversified Fund (LTDF). McHugh moves across from First State Super.

Advisory firm Stanford Brown is welcoming their ninth partner, Todd Stanford. Stanford has been with the firm for about year.

Suncorp appoints new banking and wealth CEO

Clive van Horen is Suncorp’s new banking and wealth chief executive. van Horen was most recently at Commonwealth Bank, where he spent the last decade, most recently as executive general manager of business customer solutions.

Departures

ME Bank CEO resigns

Jamie McPhee has resigned after a decade in the top job at ME Bank. It is not clear whether recent scrutiny over adjustments to redraw facilities within mortgages, and the links with the superannuation funds that own the bank, had anything to do with his decision to leave. A replacement has not been found.

NAB Private executive resigns

Jason Murray is the second NAB Private executive to leave this year. Murray, a customer executive, is moving into a role at FlexiGroup as chief financial officer. Anthony Healy left NAB Private in March.

ANZ loses advice head

Darrel Caulfield has left ANZ as head of advice and operations after being at the company for over 18 years. Caulfield hasn’t revealed what he is moving on to next.
