Life insurance sector to be grilled in follow-on to Royal Commission

Several major life insurance companies and advocacy bodies are to appear by videolink at the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics regarding admissions made during the Royal Commission and COVID-19 issues. The committee chair is Tim Wilson. The committee is part of an ongoing review of the four big banks and other financial institutions. The two days of hearings start off with the Insurance Council of Australia, AFCA, Allianz, ClearView, AIA Australia and TAL Life.
