ANZIIF board adds member
Tim Plant has been appointed to the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) board of directors. Plant is icare's group executive of innovation and a former head of QBE Australia and New Zealand operations. 

Cbus creates new executive roles
Cbus has two open positions for the newly-created roles of group executive (brand, advocacy, marketing, product) and group executive of enterprise transformation. 

Aurora appoints new COO
Aurora Funds Management has appointed a new chief operating officer, Ben Norman. Norman moves across from PwC Private Clients (formerly MGI) where he was group accountant. 

AMP Capital appoints head of insto and corporate business
Tim Nation is the new head of institutional and corporate business at AMP Capital, with the appointment an internal switch for Nation, who has been with AMP since 2010. Nation takes over from John Meagher who left the company. 

AustralianSuper appoints new investment committee chair
Jim Craig has been appointed to the AustralianSuper investment committee as chair. Craig also sits on the boards of Lifestyle Communities, IC Advisory, River Capital, Unified Healthcare Group, Australian United Investments and Cell Care Australia.

MLC Super appoints new CEO
MLC Super is now to be run by Matthew Lawrance, who has been promoted after acting in the role of chief technology and operations officer for the past seven months. Lawrance is to run NAB's superannuation and investment businesses. 

Deutsche Bank appoints Australian CEO
Deutsche Bank's Australian and New Zealand businesses are now being run by former Goldman Sachs partner Anthony Miller. Miller succeeds Michael Ormaechea, who is retiring. 

Vanguard appoints distributions heads
Vanguard has promoted three new heads of its distribution team. Matt Willis is the new head of institutional (from national sales manager); Rebecca Pope is head of intermediary (from sales excellence and planning manager); and Colleen Campbell is head of client service and administration (from senior product manager, client engagement).

Countplus founder and chair retires after 11 years
Barry Lambert has resigned from the Countplus board after founding the company and sitting on the board for 11 years. Lambert is now to focus on medical cannabis advocacy and philanthropy.
