Vanguard and Blackrock lead the US - Global FlowWatch - October 2017 Results

In October, worldwide long-term net flows stood at nearly US$165 billion bringing year-to-date aggregate net gains to US$120 billion to October totals.

Globally, bond funds have attracted the most investor demand by asset class with US$121 billion, offset by approximately US$14 billion in outflows from US funds, while passive funds (including ETFs) gathered US$82 billion with limited participation from Latin America and net redemptions of US$5 billion from Asia.

In the US, Vanguard and Blackrock continue to lead the manager rankings with their passive fund offerings which gathered US$46 billion in October. Within the cross-border space, Pimco continues to have great success with the flagship GIS Income fund gathering nearly US$5 billion this month.
