MLC Life Insurance appoints six to bancassurance
As part of its partnership with Nippon Life, MLC Life Insurance has appointed six new staff to its bancassurance, digital and direct leadership team, being led by Anand Thomas.

- Glen Ryman as general manager of data, analytics and CRM
- Michael Olivier as general manager of sales
- Nick Lethbridge as head of product
- Stephen Rosengren as head of channel development
- Mouli Ganguly as head of transformation bancassurance
ClearView appoints head of product
Jeffrey Scott is the new head of product at ClearView Wealth, moving across from BT Financial Group where he was a senior product development manager.
Total Financial Solutions appoints new executives
The Financial Planning Association's former chief executive, Mark Rantall, is now on the board of Countplus' subsidiary, Total Financial Solutions. The company has also appointed Andrew Kennedy as interim chief executive officer, after Marcelo Fernandez resigned last year.

TAL receives national award for gender equality
TAL has won a national award for being an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality Citation by the Commonwealth Workplace Gender Equality Association (WGEA), after its efforts to close the pay gap between genders, offering maternity and paternity leave, and flexible working hours for parents.
