BTIM appoints new chief executive
BT Investment Management has appointed Michael Bargholz as its new chief executive of Australia. Bargholz moves across from Fidelity International, where he had the managing director's role. 

Vanguard appoints key client manager and senior key account manager
Adam Donohue is the new key client manager at Vanguard, leaving NAB Asset Servicing to take up the new role. Andrew Mathie is Vanguard's new senior key account manager, joining from Macquarie. 

EQT appoints board member
Equity Trustees has appointed D. Glenn Sedgwick to the board as an independent non-executive director. Sedgwick is currently on the board of Australian Tourist Park Management, Australian Life Insurance Group, and is a member of both the Finance Committee of Queens College (University of Melbourne) and the Foundation Committee of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. 

ASIC appoints markets disciplinary chair
ASIC has appointed Simon Gray as the chair of the markets disciplinary panel for a two-year term, replacing Lisa Gay. Gray is a former deputy chair of the panel, and is also the deputy chief executive of Shaw and Partners, a member of ASIC's market supervision advisory panel and the ASX Appeal Tribunal. 

Contango Microcap appoints new director
The Contango board is welcoming Alistair Drummond into the fold after Drummond's role as a senior portfolio manager at Contango Asset Management since 2015. Drummond is a founding member of Contango's investment team in 1999. 

PIMCO announces new chief executive, portfolio manager, US economist
Outgoing PIMCO chief executive Douglas Hodge will be replaced by Emmanuel (Manny) Roman in early November. Hodge will become a managing director and senior adviser. Danielle Luk is now an executive vice president and portfolio manager, moving across from Credit Suisse; while Tiffany Wilding is the senior vice president and US economist, coming to PIMCO from Tudor Investment. 

Suncorp appoints investment head, loses CIO
Patrick Farrell is the new head of investments at Suncorp, poached from BT Financial Group. The move comes after Suncorp's chief investment officer Nick Basile resigned. 

BlackRock appoints head of Australia
Dominik Rohe has been appointed as the BlackRock head of Australia, moving across from BlackRock's New York office. 

Restructures

NAB restructure wealth division
As the wealth management and personal banking divisions combine, three executives are leaving - Gavin Slater (group executive personal banking), Renee Roberts (group executive of enterprise services and transformation). Michaela Healey (group executive of governance and reputation) is retiring. Personal Banking is to become Consumer Banking and Wealth Management, and will include UBank. 

Restructure at Equip
Chief investment officer at Equip, Michael Strachan, is to leave after a restructure of the investment team. Strachan was with the company for a decade. Troy Rieck is now executive officer of investment strategy, a role combining chief investment officer and executive officer of liability management. The investment team is now split into three groups - defensive assets, growth assets, and asset allocation. 

KPMG executive reshuffle
KPMG Australia has appointed a new chief information officer, Craig Wishart, replacing Anthony Stevens, who has moved on to the digital services team. Wishart moves across from UXC Ltd.
