Children's finance app wins innovation award

A virtual savings assistant developed for Westpac called GoKoala has won the 2016 NEXT innovation program. GoKoala was pitched by a business school team for NEXT, which is a collaborative training program between universities and businesses that offers practical business innovation experience as part of a 12-week unit. The idea for the program came from Intersective.

Westpac mentors Arnie Meier and Danny Tan coached the team consisting of Simon Gautherin, Cristina Di Vincenzoo, Shiwei Yang, and Yifei Wu as they competed with 250 other students from various universities and businesses.
