New Appointments

KPMG Appoints Two Wealth Management Directors
David Bardsley and Richard Watts have been appointed as directors in the wealth management and superannuation advisory business at KPMG. Bardsley moves across from AustralianSuper, with Watts moving across from Industry Super Australia. 

Four New Appointments at Rubik
Former IRESS product manager Emily Chen is Rubik's new head of product - wealth. Other recent hires at Rubik include Joanna McCarthy as head of marketing, James Jackson as the group executive of consulting, and Lanie Conquest as senior institutional account manager. 

Sunsuper Appoints New Investment Team Members
George Sauter has come out of retirement (with his last position at Vanguard) to work at Sunsuper in the investment team. Another recent investment team hire at Sunsuper is Rodney Green. 

NAB Leadership Shuffle
After the resignation of Craig Drummond, group executive of finance and strategy at National Australia Bank (NAB), a slight reshuffle has occurred. Gary Lennon is the new chief financial officer (promoted from executive general manager of finance), and Philip Chronican has been appointed as a non-executive director, moving across from ANZ. 

Statewide Super Replaces COO
Nicolle Rantanen has resigned as chief operating officer (COO) at Statewide, with Linda Zeelie taking up the position. Zeelie moves across from Schneider Electric where she was the general manager. Rantanen has moved on to the Department of Treasury and Finance as COO. 

Plato Appoints Global Shares Fund Senior Manager
Plato Investment Management has appointed Daniel Pennell as senior portfolio manager in the new Global Shares Income Fund. Pennell moves across from Realindex Investments, a subsidiary of Colonial First State. 

IOOF Appoints GM - Distribution
Mark Oliver is the new general manager of distribution at IOOF, having moved from Blackrock. 

YBR Appoints Two CEOs, Consolidates Businesses
Yellow Brick Road has appointed two new chief executives in a restructure, with Tim Brown, Vow Financial's chief executive, the chief of lending and Matt Lawler, former YBR chief executive, chief of wealth management. Two YBR business are being consolidated into two channels - lending and wealth management.

Cbus Appoints Infrastructure Manager
Diana Callebaut is the new manager of infrastructure at Cbus, moving across from KPMG into the freshly-created role.

PIMCO Appoints MD and Client Analytics Head
Jamil Baz is PIMCO's latest addition, moving across from Man GLG Partners.

Pauline Vamos Announces Retirement From ASFA
Pauline Vamos is to leave the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) in June 2016 after being the master of ceremonies at the Chant West Super Fund Awards. Her role in the Association and industry has been immense, and will mark almost a decade of efforts.
