Small caps popular in August - New US Fund Filings Review August 2015 Report

Some highlights from new US funds filed in August:

Small cap equity strategies proved popular in August. Goldman Sachs filed a multi-manager small cap fund, and T. Rowe Price filed a small cap index fund. Oppenheimer, Aristotle Capital, and Dana Investment Advisors also plan new small cap funds.

Legg Mason registered three international alternative funds, including a global macro product, a market neutral fund, and an unconstrained equity fund.

Driehaus plans a fund which will focus on the equity and debt of distressed, stressed, and leveraged companies.

Brown Advisory and Robeco Investment Management registered long/short funds.
