Asian Monthly Insight - March 2022 Highlights

Asian assets under management (AUM) fell to US$5.0 trillion, a drop of US$214.8 billion from the previous month; regional assets under management have fallen by -1.9% in the last six months.

Net Sales were US-$89.5 billion in March 2022, down from inflows of US$46.0 billion in the previous month.

Equity funds saw the highest monthly inflow, with net sales of US$18.6 billion. The second best-selling asset class was mixed asset with net sales of US-$41.3 billion.

Active funds saw net sales of US$97.5 billion; passive funds and ETFs witnessed net inflows of US$128.5 million and US$7.8 billion, respectively.
