APRA requesting new super fund data to understand impact of pandemic on industry

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has set up the COVID-19 Pandemic Data Collection (PDC) to enable ongoing assessment of the pandemic on superannuation funds and the early release scheme.

The PDC has two components, with the first monthly reported information covering complaints, insurance, advice and operational resilience, and the second relating to quarterly reported data on liquidity, early release demographics and insurance cancellations under Protecting Your Super reforms. Registrable superannuation entities start the monthly data delivery on July 31 for April and June.
