Background

This report utilises proprietary Direct Risk data, with a change of statistic to exclude Single Premium business but expanding the dataset into a complete quarterly history back to June 2009 split by Company and Product Type. This Direct Risk history has then been analysed alongside our Detailed Risk History report to split the entire Individual Risk market into Direct Business and Advised/Non-Direct Business.
