Vision Super to expand ESG team
Industry super fund Vision Super is recruiting a climate expert to join their environmental, social and governance (ESG) division. The team currently comprises chief executive Stephen Rowe, investment officer Michael Wyrsch, and members of the investment and strategy teams.

IOOF appoints portfolio manager
Paul Crisci has been named manager of IOOF’s Australian equities portfolio. Crisci was most recently an equities portfolio manager at Funds SA, overseeing International and Australian equities.

Chi-X appoints Australian chief
Vic Jokovic has been appointed as Chi-X Australia’s chief executive. Jokovic retired from his previous role as managing director and co-head of global markets Australia/New Zealand at Deutsche Bank in February.

Media Super appoints managers
Media Super has appointed Jennifer McSpadden as general manager of engagement and Laurie Kennedy as part-time risk manager, a newly created role. McSpadden is a former head of customer management at Mine Wealth + Wellbeing. Kennedy was previously part-time risk manager at First Super.

Bennelong leadership rearrangement
Hamish Wood has been promoted to strategy officer after previously being head of finance at Bennelong. Raymond Lau has been promoted to head of finance, previously being a finance manager at Bennelong. Hannah Pietsch has been appointed as communications manager, after previously being a market content manager at Russell Investments. Steven Asquith joins Bennelong as digital marketing manager from VicSuper. Minna Pacanowski has been appointed as marketing officer of projects and analytics.

Policy expert re-joins ISA
Industry Super Australia (ISA) has re-appointed Nick Coates as a senior adviser. Coates was previously head of government relations and policy at ISA and senior manager of consumer protection and financial advice at ASIC.

BNP Paribas expands business team
BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Toby Coleman to its Sydney-based institutional business team as a senior business development manager. Coleman was formerly on Perpetual’s institutional team.

Cbus executive wins FEAL award
Cbus chief executive David Atkin was announced as the winner of this year’s fund executive of the year award at a Fund Executive Association Limited (FEAL) members’ dinner. Atkin received a $25,000 executive education grant from AMP Capital to be used at business schools.
